It is mildly annoying and really makes no sense when people place descriptions on their email signature. Example:
Larry Craig
Title/Position: US Senator/Any
Company: US Senate R’ Us
Address: 5548 Airport Blvd….
Phone: xxx-xxx-xxxx
Cellular Phone: xxx-xxx-xxxx
Fax: xxx-xxx-xxxx
Email: imnotgayneverhavebeengay@rainbow.net
Now the designation of what type of phone line it is, is ok (use cell not cellular tho), unless there is only one phone number given. But what the fuck is the point of telling the receiver of the info that the subsequent listed is your title, address, and email? We (most of us) are not fucking stupid and can figure out without much effort if the information is an email address or a phone number or the title of your position. Additionally, why does the email even have to be listed? If you emailed them they should have your email right? Despite that I don’t have a problem with listing your email for the convenience of providing complete information in case someone wants to copy and paste. Clean up your email sig lines people!! Concise!
btw, after the reference to Larry Craig, I throughly enjoyed using “position” and “receiver”

All of my last several blogs were on blogger. I really liked the flexibility and integration of blogger but absolutely hated the available templates. I spent a ton of time customizing blogger templates just to make them look presentable or somewhat unique. Blogger has been the popular host for many years but now wordpress is really picking up the pace. So I thought what the hell and made the switch over to wordpress. I like the presentation but I really hate a few things about it too including:
- Not being able to edit templates w/o subscribing
- Not being able to use java script in the sidebars (unless you subscribe to the editor i assume)
- The taging/category system – it is used for searching throughout wordpress rather than organizing posts within your own blog. I much prefer bloggers system.
- To upload more than 50mb you have to pay – or use a photo hosting site which isn’t as convenient
- Not having a quick edit button to increase font size and type.
Over all though I like wordpress and am getting on to it. WordPress is far more sophisticated as far as design and editing if you pay to edit it or use it to host your own site. I especially like the availability of three column templates that look much nicer, cleaner and are more appealing. Plus I can log on to wordpress from work without being blocked by the firewall/filter like blogger is

I roofed the father-in-law’s house last weekend and let me tell you it was a ball buster. I have roofed every summer for 10 years now so that was nothing new but this time around I hadn’t done any physical labor like that for about a year. When you only do one roof a year like this your body isn’t ready for it, not to mention getting older. I could barely walk the next day. And I smashed my big toe ( I think I dropped a 100 pound bundle of shingles on it) so I’ll pry lose a toenail or just be in pain for a while. The roof wasn’t bad at all and everything went pretty smoothly as far as that goes but it was a bitch on the body. While I don’t mind roofing, at this point I never want to do it ever again. Thank god I went to school, now if I can just get through that…
